The theme of this school week is: Life to the Full
The Sign of the Cross
In the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit. Amen.
Scripture
“I came so that everyone would have life, life to the full” – John 10:10
Reflection
If you’re just trying to get by in life, remember that Jesus has promised everyone who follows Him the ability to live and abundant life, to the fullest. You can experience that kind of life – regardless of your circumstances – when you trust God to help you develop it. This week, let’s see different ways how:
Receive God’s powerful love: God is love, and His love is far more powerful than your circumstances or feelings. You can count on God loving you completely and unconditionally at all times and in all situations. God’s love is a free gift to you, so you don’t need to try to earn it. There is absolutely nothing that can separate you from God’s love, so you can’t ever lose it. Choose to base your hope on God’s love rather than on anything less than that. Open your soul to fully receive God’s love for you every day.
Prayer
Father, there is something that stirs inside of me when I hear about receiving life to the full. I want to receive your powerful love in my life, so I know that you are always there, whatever my circumstances or feelings.
In Jesus’ name,
Amen.
Our Father who art in Heaven,
Hallowed be thy name;
Thy kingdom come
Thy will be done
On earth as it is in heaven.
Give us this day our daily bread;
And forgive us our trespasses
As we forgive those who trespass against us;
And lead us not into temptation,
But deliver us from evil.
Our Lady Queen of Peace pray for us.
St Joseph pray for us
In the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit. Amen.
