St Joseph’s GCSE Results show significant increase from 2017

Our Results Highlights were:

56.4% of students gained a Grade 5 in English, up by 10% on the previous year

49.6% of students gained a Grade 5 in Maths up by 15% on the previous year.

39% of students gained a strong pass (Grade 5 or above) in English and Maths combined, an increase of 12% on the previous year.

64.1% of students gained a standard pass (Grade 4 or above) in English and Maths combined, an increase of 5% on the previous year.

Our Provisional Progress Grading, for the students who studied at St Joseph’s, is above the national average for schools in England and Wales and we are delighted. When we take all the students into account our Progress 8 is -0.07 which is at national average. This is a significant increase from last year’s -0.24. Well done to all our staff and students for their continued hard work and the St Joseph’s parents for their strong support.
