Jigsaw Children’s Hospice provides support to children and young adults with life limiting conditions throughout our county. The hospice has a welcoming atmosphere that is a place of safety where children and young adults can receive the care and attention they need. It was with great delight this morning that we were able to hand over a cheque for £728 to Jigsaw, our Year 7 charity (2017-2018).
Sam Johnston, from Jigsaw, was overwhelmed with the amount of money we raised through:
• Cake sales
• Bag packing
• Guessing which teacher from a baby photo
• Charity fun games
• Football competitions
• Collecting pennies from the floor
• Film club
The photo below shows Jocelyn (now in Year 8) handing the cheque to Sam Johnston.
