The Way of the Week: Come Let Us Adore Him

In our last week of term we are reflecting on Christmas in the light of the Year of the Eucharist which Bishop Paul launched in November. In the Way of the Day we will be meditating on some famous works of art based on nativity scenes, while making the link between ‘the Word made flesh’ – God becoming man in Jesus Christ,  and the Word made flesh – Jesus present at every Mass in the Eucharist.

God of love, Father of all,
the darkness that covered the earth
has given way to the bright dawn of your Word made flesh.
Make us a people of this light.
Make us faithful to your Word,
that we may bring your life to the waiting world.
Grant this through Christ our Lord.
