£8.70 per hour . £13,572.00 per annum
Due to the expansion of our services we require a Cook to work under the direction of the Catering Manager. The work will involve working in our school kitchen and for our outside catering business. You will be required to work flexible hours (see the further details for information) over 5 days a week on a rota basis, Monday to Sunday. In addition to this we may require you to work overtime for which you will be paid.
Candidates should ideally have an NVQ level 3 qualification in catering or equivalent and at least 2 years work experience in an industrial/similar setting. Candidates should be good bakers.
We will consider applications without the NVQ qualification if you can demonstrate a flair for cooking and are willing to undergo training
Candidates should have good inter personal skills, be able to work well in a team and on their own and be able enjoy working with young people. A current food hygiene certificate is essential and candidates should have a full working knowledge of policies and procedures .Driving licence desirable.
