ST JOSEPH’S ARE OFF TO WIMBLEDON!

The School PE department have been fortunate enough to obtain tickets for court number 2 at this year’s Wimbledon Tennis championships. The tickets will initially be offered to our hard working sports leaders who have spent the year helping out at our primary school festivals.
Sports development Officer Mr Wise was naturally delighted; “This will be our fifth School trip to Wimbledon and it is always an amazing experience”. “We have been lucky enough to see players such as Federer, Williams, Djokovic and Andy Murray in the past and to actually be at Wimbledon to see them close up is something else”. “We are so excited for what should be a great couple of days in the capital”.
The trip will take place in early July.

Well done

To celebrate the end of term, we have decided to showcase some of the fantastic creative writing our KS4 students have produced this term.
Well done to Danny from Miss Doran’s Year 10 set 1 class and Lewis H from Mrs Ward’s Year 11 set 2 class for their brilliant creative writing responses.

Congratulations

A huge well done to Miss Fye and her group of year 9 students who all graduated with their industrial cadet bronze award today.

Not only this but they have been nominated for the best teamwork award! 👏🏽
