Last term our Year 7 and Year 8 students were immersed in the fascinating world of Artificial Intelligence during the BAE Aviation / RAF / Royal Navy roadshow and it was a roaring success!![]()

Students met Lila the Robot Dog, learning how to control her using hand gestures and discovering the power of AI-driven robotics. Our creative Year 7s even used AI to produce a hilarious music video in the style of Elton John… singing about cheese! Year 8 students explored how to prompt AI tools effectively to generate the results they want, developing digital literacy for the future.![]()

We also tackled the serious side of AI, learning about deepfakes and the importance of staying savvy online in a world where not everything we see can be trusted.![]()

The excitement, curiosity and engagement from our students was inspiring. They didn’t just learn about the future, they interacted with it! A Highlight of the show was Mrs Kim and Mr Jacob volunteering to be a robot, our students found this hilarious.![]()

Last week, our amazing Year 10 students took part in a fantastic two-day RISE workshop delivered by the brilliant team at The Talent Foundry.![]()

Each half of the year group had a full day of activities focused on developing transferable skills and they absolutely smashed it! From games and quizzes to business planning and mock recruitment tasks, students showed incredible enthusiasm and teamwork. The sessions wrapped up with everyone presenting their business ideas to the whole group and wow, what a performance! ![]()
