Wednesday 14th June: Journey with God

The Sign of the Cross

In the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit. Amen.

“Go in peace…for the Lord is watching over your journey.” – Judges 18:6

In the Christian faith, God calls each person individually, but each person is also called into relationship with others. We god to God together. The people of God travel together, uncovering the mystery of God’s presence in their world and handing that mystery on to future generations. It is a shared journey, into the love of God. This morning is another stage of that journey.

Spend some time quietly thinking about these questions:

With whom will I share the journey with today?

Who will bring me closer to God today?

Who will need my support to get through the day?

How am I called to reflect God’s love today?

We can end this time by praying together:

Our Father who art in Heaven,
Hallowed be thy name;
Thy kingdom come
Thy will be done
On earth as it is in heaven.
Give us this day our daily bread;
And forgive us our trespasses
As we forgive those who trespass against us;
And lead us not into temptation,
But deliver us from evil.

Our Lady Queen of Peace pray for us.

St Joseph pray for us

In the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit. Amen.
