Last term, we had the pleasure of welcoming Emma Thompson from Cumberland Council Community Alcohol Partnership , joined by Martin from CADAS, giving some hands-on insights into the effects of drugs and alcohol. This really brought to life the lessons we have covered in Personal Development this term. Students tried their hand at walking with "beer goggles" on and even tried to drive cars whilst simulating being under the influence of alcohol. This may be one of the most impactful lessons that has been delivered so far! ![]()
