Last half term some Year 7 classes got to take their Design and Technology lessons outdoor to our fabulous garden area. They had a look at how nature inspires engineered products around them and drew what they would like to see in the garden including a swimming pool [maybe not this year!] They really enjoyed getting out in the sunshine whilst they were learning. ![]()

From in-school activities such as mindfulness sessions to hands-on work outside, our students got stuck in! A special shout out to our Brilliant Cumbria students, who were out in the community clearing, weeding, tidying and litter picking around Bankfield Mansions and St John's Graveyard, amazing work making a real difference! ![]()

Muheeb, who has been teaching himself Arabic, impressed a panel of judges on Zoom as he confidently read his chosen story. They praised his positive attitude to learning, self-motivation, and clear passion for foreign languages. ![]()
