Book Fair in the Library – Lunchtime This Week! ![]()
Exciting news! Our Scholastic Book Fair is open every lunchtime this week in the school library. A fantastic selection of books has arrived for students to browse and discover new reads! How it works:
🔹 Students can explore the wide range of books available.
🔹 Instead of bringing cash, they will fill out a wish list of their chosen books.
🔹 Wish lists go home for parents/carers to complete payment directly with Scholastic.
🔹 Books can then be collected when our order arrives!
🔹 Every book purchased earns free books for our school library.![]()
🚫 Please do not bring cash to school.![]()
Come along, find your next great read, and enjoy the magic of books! ![]()

We were lucky enough to have science made simple come in to school recently to present a show to our students. We learnt all about generating electricity, the importance of safety and the career prospects of this industry. Our students enjoyed the show and were keen to get involved in the demonstrations. We would like to thank Electricity North West for providing this opportunity. ![]()

Last week, our incredible Lego League team headed to Lakes College for the regional finals, and while they didn’t take home the top prize, they WON Best Robot Design! ![]()
Our Innovation Team – Kaleb, Amelia, Emma, Leilana, Holly and Grace – absolutely smashed it! They researched, prepared, and confidently presented their Innovation Project to the judges, tackling some seriously tough questions. ![]()
Meanwhile, our Engineers & Coders – Ashton, Matei, Daniel and Chriswin – showed off their amazing robot design and wowed the judges with their technical skills. But the most nail-biting moment? The live robot matches! Our team went head-to-head with another school, solving as many challenges as possible – and scored way more points than expected! ![]()
Beyond their skills in coding and engineering, our students truly embodied the Core Values of the competition: Teamwork, Fun, Inclusion, Discovery, Impact, and Innovation. We couldn’t be prouder of how they represented our school with such excellence, determination, and sportsmanship! ![]()
And one more exciting thing… They were on ITV Border News last Wednesday. Watch their interview on Catch Up. ![]()
Well done, team – you are all LEGENDS! ![]()
