Welcome to SJCHS Workington – We have been serving our community of Workington and the surrounding areas for over 90 years providing quality education, pastoral support and advice/guidance to our students and their families and the local community.
We are a Good Catholic school according to our most recent OFSTED and Diocesan inspections. We have a strong tradition of ensuring that our students reach their desired next steps in employment or further education.
We are very proud of the achievements of our students and work extremely hard to maintain the high standards for which SJCHS has always been known. Care for the individual is at the very heart of what we do as a school.

We are very much a family at St Joseph’s where staff, pupils, parents, and governors work very closely to ensure that our students enjoy their time with us and perform to the best of their abilities in whatever field they feel comfortable.
