You will soon be making choices about which secondary school you wish your child to attend in September 2025. We understand what an important decision this is for every family. To help you to make an informed choice, we warmly welcome you and your child to St Joseph’s Catholic High School for our Open Evening on Tuesday 17th September 2024. The evening will run from 4pm until 7pm so please come and visit us at the time most convenient for you and your family between these times.
During our open evening you will have the chance to speak to our Headteacher Mr Nevitt, learn all about our wonderful school and have the opportunity to meet our fantastic staff and students. As well as our open evening, we will be visiting our partner primaries for question-and-answer sessions with Year 6 students.
If you can’t make the Open Evening or you would like to see more, you also have the option of booking a personal tour for you and your child by emailing hello@sjchs.uk
We are an intentionally small school, so we know and care for every child and ensure all students are fully supported to achieve their very best. We have high aspirations for all our students in the St Joseph’s family. We have been entrusted by our local community of Workington and the surrounding areas to educate children for over 90 years, something we are immensely proud of.

Admissions for secondary places close on 31 October each year.
